What you’ll be doing
You’ll provide commercial and financial leadership across our Facilities and Maintenance operations, helping us control costs, optimise contracts, and plan confidently for the future. Day to day, you’ll:
Own and manage the annual maintenance, reactive, minor works and PPM budgets
Control in‑year spend, managing variances and producing accurate forecasts
Oversee invoice validation, reconciliation and financial reporting
Lead commercial and financial performance reviews with contractors, holding suppliers to account against KPIs and SLAs
Drive value for money through cost modelling, benchmarking and commercial assessments
Produce clear weekly spend and performance reports, giving visibility across the estate
Ensure financial data integrity across CAFM and finance systems
Support long‑term asset and maintenance planning through robust financial analysis
Strengthen audit trails, governance and financial controls across Facilities
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a commercially minded professional with experience in facilities, maintenance or asset‑intensive environments, where operational delivery and cost control go hand in hand.
You’ll bring:
Strong experience managing maintenance or facilities budgets
Proven commercial and financial governance skills
Confidence managing supplier contracts, KPIs and SLAs
Excellent analytical skills, including forecasting and value‑for‑money reviews
Experience working with CAFM systems and financial reporting tools
The ability to communicate financial insight clearly to both operational and senior stakeholders
A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with a strong eye for detail
